Annual MASARD Christmas picnic
On
Sunday 8th January, MASARD Welfare Society held its annual Christmas
picnic for the children of Ashanilaya orphanage and the children who receive
support from MASARD through its community based care programme.
Altogether, MASARD took 70 children orphaned and destitute children from
Bangalore's slums to Wonder La amusement park in Hejjala.
MASARD's Christmas picnic is a wonderful opportunity for children who are
not fortunate enough to spend the holiday period with their families, like other
more privileged children.
The children were accompanied by MASARD
staff and volunteers.
A fun day was had by all and is sure to prove a very memorable day for all of
those who attended.
