On Sunday 8^th January MASARD Welfare Society had our annual holiday picnic at Wonder La amusement park in Hejjala.  The holiday picnic is an event that we look forward to every year because it is a wonderful opportunity for the children to enjoy the holidays like other children who are fortunate enough to spend time with their families. MASARD staff accompanied the children from Ashanilaya orphanage and a number of children who receive support from MASARD through our community based care programs.  In total 70 children and eight staff attended.

The children and staff all had a wonderful time and we are sure that it will be a very memorable event for the children for some time to come.
