There are a number of ways for you to get involved in the work of MASARD Welfare Society through volunteering. Volunteering is a great way to put something back into your community and it helps us to continually improve the scale and scope of our activities.

We keep this page updated with ways that you can share your skills with us and contribute in a meaningful way to the socio-economic development of those less fortunate.

PLEASE NOTE: All of the positions below are UNPAID voluntary positions.

Field Worker - Rural Development

We are looking for highly motivated and proactive individuals to assist women in rural areas develop business plans. You will have:

A business/commerce academic background
Fluency in Kannada and at least a basic knowledge of English
An understanding of development issues

The women are located in and around Bogalur which is located 30kms from Bangalore. This is an ongoing position and volunteers can negotiate their working hours.

Resource Mobilisation/Fundraiser

We are looking for individuals to help us identify funding opportunities and raise awareness of our cause. We require the following skills:

Native English speaker
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work with little or no supervision

This position is located in our main office on MG Road in Bangalore. It is a fulltime position and would suit an international volunteer.
